All of us here at Santa Cruz Records Management understand the level of trust that is required in handling client's sensitive business records. Our Facility

Our facility is modern, clean, climate-controlled, pest-free and fully secured. Our alarm system is connected to emergency services with direct dispatch to our facility. The alarm system has battery back up in case of power failure. Our entire facility is fully equipped with fire sprinklers and fire extinguishers and are regularly inspected by the Fire Department. Both the exterior and the interior of our facilities are treated regularly for pest-control. Continuous climate control protects your records from environmental damage. Our high standards of security and safety provide our customers with peace of mind.

Meet the Owners

Santa Cruz Records Management is locally and family owned and operated by Larry and Maggie Gurley. In 1991, the husband and wife team purchased a small moving business. As the demand and trust grew in the Gurley's new venture, Santa Cruz Records Management emerged as a full-time records management facility. A local business with grass roots in the community, many of their first clients are still with them today. After twenty five years of providing a valuable and necessary service to the community, Larry and Maggie are still excited about their business. They are continuously keeping up with changes in the industry to ensure their that their customers continue to receive the best service at reasonable rates. The Gurleys keep their business doors open to all who would like to see their practices and observe the level of professionalism underlying the foundation for their business

Storage Services

Pick Up & Delivery

All records are transported in locked, secure vehicles. Our drivers are screened and specifically trained to handle sensitive material, with special consideration to confidentiality. Our regular pick up & delivery schedule is convenient and easy. We offer priority 1 hour service to accommodate last minute emergency requests during regular business hours. After hours, weekend and holiday service is always available so that your important information is accessible 24/7. Our drivers are uniformed and wear identification badges for added security.

On Site Viewing & Retrieval

Our facility provides a private area for reviewing your records, fully equipped with a office equipment for your convenience. To make the process easier for our customers, we can pull the boxes ahead of time before your visit for either pick-up or viewing at your request.

Records Administrator Assistance

Need help getting those boxes ready for storage? How about help in updating your files in your office? We can send a records administrator to your site to pull files, transfer them into boxes and even fill out inventories. Our courteous and professional representatives also label boxes, move records for you in your own office and in between your designated sites. Our knowledge, integrity and flexibility makes it easy and convenient for our clients and saves valuable time and resources.

Pick Up

Santa Cruz Records Management will pick up records at your designated location and securely transport them to our facility for shredding. Before leaving your facility, we make sure that all containers are locked. Our procedures and protocol ensure that all of your documents are in our protected chain of custody, and are destroyed properly with no room for error in our secured facility.

On Site Containers

Santa Cruz Records Management offers a variety of containers that can be placed on-site at your designated location to accumulate material for destruction. Containers are securely locked to protect sensitive information and come in different varieties to best suit your needs. In addition, our containers are pleasing and modern, and aesthetically accompany your environment. Locked alarmed vehicles transport your materials in locked containers back to our secured facility. Like all other Destruction services, we maintain the same integrity of procedures while maintaining your confidentiality and ensuring customer satisfaction on all levels.

Customer Drop Off

Customers are welcome to bring materials directly to our facility. Once received, all of your materials will be weighed accurately and completely destroyed by an official Deputy Weigh-Master of the State of California.

E-Waste Pick Up/Drop Off

Customers are welcome to bring electronic materials directly to our facility or we can pick up electronic waste at your business or home. Once received, all of your materials will be weighed accurately and completely destroyed by an official Deputy Weigh-Master of the State of California.

Security

All material are handled in a safe and confidential manner by pre-screened and professionally trained employees. Customers are welcome to attend and witness the CROSS-CUT destruction of documents. A Certificate of Destruction is issued for each completed order.

Recycle

After all materials are securely destroyed. 100% will be recycled.

It's easy. If you have materials ready for destruction, call our office to schedule a pick-up or drop it by. Need a container at your office so you can take your time in getting together all your materials? Delivery of on-site containers can be made within 48 hours of request (if item is in stock). Come by and check out our samples of stock containers. Limited custom sized containers are available and can be special ordered upon request.

All orders are weighed on site & issued a certified weight certificate by a deputy weigh master. Our shredding goes one step above the normal strip cutting machines; we use cross-cutting on all shredding, resulting in very small, indistinguishable pieces. You can feel 100% secure with the results.

Collection schedules are tailored to fit your specific needs. All material is transferred in securely locked containers. A certificate of shred is provided for each batch of material picked up and destroyed. You can rest assured that all of your material has been destroyed in a secure and confidential manner.
